Miguel Flowers Charged in Canton Pedestrian Death

Massillon man faces vehicular homicide, hit-skip charges

CANTON, Ohio – Jail records show Miguel Flowers, 55, of Massillon, has been charged and jailed in connection with a hit-skip crash that killed a pedestrian.

Flowers was booked Tuesday into the Stark County Jail and faces charges of vehicular homicide, vehicular manslaughter, and leaving the scene of a deadly accident.

Investigators say the incident occurred on November 28 near 34th Street NE in Canton. Court documents identify the victim as Eugene Rogers, who was walking along the street when he was struck.

Rogers later died from his injuries, and authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash.
