Two migrant workers, including a juvenile, were arrested by police near Ambur town in Tirupattur district on Wednesday in connection with the recent murder of a local farm owner.
The arrested individuals have been identified as R. Anil Kumar, 25, and a juvenile, both originally from Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. According to police investigations, the victim, 38-year-old farm owner Askar Basha, had employed the duo to tend his three-acre farm located in Arangal Durgam village near Ambur a few months ago. The workers had been residing on the farmland during their employment.
