Toronto police have arrested Midhat Cehovic, 60, of Vaughan, in connection with an alleged sexual assault that occurred in a public washroom in the city’s Financial District.
The incident took place just before 3 p.m. on June 24 near Bay Street and Temperance Street. According to investigators, Cehovic approached an individual in the washroom and allegedly assaulted them before fleeing the scene.
Cehovic was taken into custody on August 3 and charged with sexual assault. He is scheduled to appear in court on September 22 to answer the charge.
