Michael Tardiff Arrested in Holden, Maine for Fentanyl Trafficking

Arrest made after fentanyl-related evidence found in home

HOLDEN, Maine (WGME) — A Maine man, Michael Tardiff, was arrested on Monday in connection with an ongoing fentanyl trafficking and theft investigation in Holden, Maine.

Police executed a search at 90 Copeland Hill Road, Holden, and seized drug-related evidence during the investigation. Tardiff, aged 40, was apprehended due to an outstanding warrant. In addition to the warrant, he has been charged with theft and violating the conditions of his release. Authorities indicated that more charges are likely to follow.

Following his arrest, Tardiff was taken to the Penobscot County Jail for processing.

The investigation into the fentanyl trafficking and theft remains active, and police have not released further details at this time.
