by Sophia Bennett

Two men from Slough have been sentenced for their roles in supplying class A and B drugs in the area.

Michael Jordan, 21, who has no fixed address, was sentenced to four years in prison at Reading Crown Court on July 11. Rohan Chopra, 20, from Tobermory Close, received a two-year suspended sentence, must complete 200 hours of unpaid work, and will be monitored with a GPS device for six months. He was also ordered to take part in a drug rehabilitation programme.

Police began investigating after gathering important communication data linking both men to a drug supply operation in Slough, mainly in the Langley area.

Jordan admitted to three counts of being involved in the supply of class A drugs, including heroin, crack cocaine, and cocaine. He also admitted to supplying cannabis, possessing cocaine and cannabis with the intent to supply, and possessing cannabis.

Chopra pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing cocaine, three counts of possessing cannabis and amphetamine, and two counts of being involved in the supply of cocaine and cannabis.

Investigating officer PC Lewis Jefferson said that drug dealing causes harm and often targets the most vulnerable. He added that Thames Valley Police will continue to take action using both visible patrols and undercover work to stop drug activity in Slough.

Police encourage anyone with information about drug dealing to contact them via 101 or the online reporting form. People can also report anonymously through Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
