Michael Andriotto Arrested After Child Found Near Drugs, Gun

Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust, Arrests in St. Tammany Parish

ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. – A routine traffic stop led to a drug bust and arrests after authorities discovered a 10-year-old child living near fentanyl, meth, and syringes in a Covington home.

Traffic Stop Uncovers Drugs and Firearm
On March 14, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies attempted to stop a vehicle on Lee Road after noticing it cross the center line. The driver, Michael Andriotto, continued for 1.5 miles before pulling over.

Upon searching him, deputies found:

Two grams of methamphetamine

Five grams of fentanyl

A handgun in plain view on the passenger seat

Andriotto was taken into custody, and detectives obtained a search warrant for his home on North 12th Street in Covington.

Home Search Reveals Dangerous Drugs Near Child’s Sleeping Area
At the residence, deputies encountered Andriotto’s girlfriend, Audrey McKay, and his 10-year-old child. A search revealed:

14 grams of marijuana

2.5 grams of methamphetamine

A quarter ounce of fentanyl

Used and unused syringes

Drug paraphernalia near the child’s sleeping area

Charges and Legal Action
Both Andriotto and McKay were arrested and booked on multiple drug charges. Additionally, Andriotto faces a felon in possession of a firearm charge.
