ATLANTA, Ga. – Mia Thornton, former star of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Potomac, has been arrested and charged with felony theft, multiple outlets report.
Thornton, whose full name is Mia Fields-Thornton, was taken into custody Wednesday at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport and booked at Fulton County Jail. Authorities allege she stole furniture and a TV, valued at approximately $11,000, from a condo she had been renting. The alleged theft occurred in late October when Thornton and a man, Jared McGriff, reportedly moved out of the unit abruptly in the middle of the night.
Body-camera footage obtained by TMZ shows Thornton telling officers she was aware of the warrant. She reportedly said, “I just want him to put the furniture back. Enough is enough.”
Thornton left RHOP nearly seven months ago, citing a family relocation to Atlanta. In an Instagram post, she thanked the show’s producers and castmates, hinting at “exciting opportunities” ahead.
