SPENCER CO., Ind. (WFIE) – 40-year-old Mathis Harmon, a convicted methamphetamine dealer, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after a DEA-led investigation.
Harmon, who entered into a plea agreement with the state, will serve his prison sentence followed by eight years of home detention and an additional six years of supervision upon his release.
Authorities say the investigation into Harmon’s drug distribution activities was conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), which led to his conviction.
The sentence highlights the ongoing efforts by local and federal law enforcement to combat the methamphetamine trade in the region.
