Mervin Brooks Arrested After Armed Burglary at Motorcycle Dealership

A 27-year-old man, Mervin Gaston Brooks, was arrested on multiple felony charges after allegedly breaking into a motorcycle dealership in Kissimmee, Florida.

The incident occurred on Monday, September 22, around 10:35 p.m., when deputies from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at Central Florida PowerSports, located at 2575 N Orange Blossom Trail.

Upon arrival, deputies saw a man—later identified as Brooks—fleeing the scene. After a short foot chase, Brooks was apprehended. During the investigation, authorities reportedly found Brooks was armed with a handgun at the time of the burglary.

While the sheriff’s office has not released further details on the burglary or what was targeted, Brooks was booked into Osceola County Jail shortly after the incident. He remains in custody with a bond set at $11,000.
