Meridian Woman Arrested Following Stabbing Incident

Meridian, ID – Tera Suarez, a 44-year-old woman from Meridian, was arrested following an investigation into a stabbing incident that occurred on April 24, 2025.

Meridian Police responded to a report of an aggravated battery when staff at St. Luke’s Emergency Room called to report a female victim who had been dropped off with what appeared to be multiple stab wounds. The investigation revealed that the stabbing took place early in the morning of April 24, in the 2100 block of Meridian Road. Detectives discovered that the injury occurred during a confrontation in a parking lot at the location.

The victim was treated for her injuries and later released from the hospital.

Following the investigation, detectives obtained a residential search warrant for the home of Tera Suarez, and on April 30, they took her into custody. Suarez was interviewed by Meridian Police before being booked into the Ada County Jail without further incident.

Suarez is facing charges in connection with the aggravated battery. Further details about the confrontation are expected to emerge as the investigation continues.
