EL PASO, Texas — Two men, 25-year-old Menda Wangchuck Dorji and Nima Dhenup, were arrested following a viral video capturing an altercation with police outside bars in El Paso’s Cincinnati Entertainment District on Saturday night.

The incident took place around 11 p.m. near 2708 N. Mesa. Police said a security guard was trying to escort a person out after he vomited inside the bar. Nima Dhenup struck the security guard, who was then attacked by several people with Dhenup.

When officers arrived, they encountered a crowd of 30 to 40 people yelling, while the security guard tried to detain Dhenup. Dorji interfered with police efforts and ignored commands, leading to his arrest.

Both men face charges related to the incident, with investigations ongoing.
