Melissa Fraiser Arrested for Meth Trafficking in Gulf County Traffic Stop

Passenger found with meth, heroin, and drug paraphernalia on Highway 98

GULF COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) — Melissa Fraiser, 46, of Alabama, was arrested on August 24 after law enforcement discovered drugs during a traffic stop on Highway 98 near Sea Glass.

Officials said the passenger in the vehicle appeared nervous and attempted to hide something under a blanket during the stop. Upon further inspection, deputies found 18.28 grams of methamphetamine, 0.5 grams of heroin, and multiple drug paraphernalia items including syringes, spoons, and glass smoking devices.

Fraiser was taken into custody and transported to the Gulf County Jail. She faces charges of trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to authorities.
