Delhi Police have arrested five men linked to a burglary in Mukherjee Nagar, where a shop was broken into and air conditioners, laptops, and cash were stolen. The accused are Md Azaz, Moenuddin, Irfan alias Kale, Sudhir alias Parantha, and Arman alias Totla — all from Sangam Vihar in Wazirabad.
Azaz and Irfan are alleged repeat offenders. Police say they cracked at least two burglary cases as part of this arrest, recovering nine air conditioners and a motor pump.
The complaint came from a shop owner in Dheerpur Nirankari Colony, who reported that burglars entered on the night of April 11, stole 10 AC units, two laptops, and between Rs30,000–₹40,000 in cash.
The Mukherjee Nagar Police Station filed an FIR under relevant sections of the BNS. Using CCTV footage, local informers, and technical surveillance, officers traced the suspects to Sangam Vihar and arrested them.
During interrogations, the accused admitted responsibility for the Mukherjee Nagar burglary, plus another burglary reported under Burari Police Station.
