Maureen Denman, Others Face Charges in Denville Incidents

Four arrests made in May for various criminal offenses

In May 2025, Denville Township Police made several arrests related to different crimes and traffic stops.

On May 14, police responded to a report of a possible burglary at a home. After investigating, they found that Maureen Denman, a dog walker hired by the homeowner, had entered a private room in the house without permission and searched through personal belongings. She was arrested and charged with burglary, then released with a court date at Morris County Superior Court.

On May 17, officers stopped a vehicle on Route 10 West for a lighting violation and an unregistered vehicle. The driver, Lori Delorenzo-Napoli of Rockaway, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. She was arrested, processed, and released with a court date. She also received multiple traffic summonses, including for fictitious plates, unclear plates, no insurance, and driving an unregistered vehicle.

On May 19 at 2:30 a.m., police stopped a car on Route 10 for failing to maintain its lane. The driver, Luis Villa-Margarzon, showed signs of intoxication and failed a field sobriety test. He was arrested for driving under the influence.

On May 28 at 12:40 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Route 80 West for careless driving. The driver, Gabriella Neris, was found with a loaded firearm containing hollow point ammunition. She was arrested and processed at police headquarters.

All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
