Two drug dealers have been caught and sentenced after police intercepted their vehicle in Staffordshire.

Matthew Harrison, 39, and Stacey Doolan, 40, were found with £1,244 in cash, two phones, and monkey dust when police stopped their car in Longton on April 19, 2022.

High-Speed Chase Ends in Arrest
Harrison was spotted in a silver car near Wood Street in the early hours of the morning. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, it failed to pull over, leading to a pursuit that ended in Dorchester Walk, Bentilee.

Harrison attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended. Doolan was found sitting in the back of the car.

Drugs, Cash, and Evidence Found
Upon searching Doolan, officers discovered a black man bag containing cash, phones, and monkey dust. A further investigation into their mobile phones revealed messages advertising the sale of cocaine and monkey dust to local buyers.

Court Sentencing
Harrison, of HMP Fosse Way, pleaded guilty to offering to supply cocaine and a controlled Class B drug. On March 18, 2025, he was sentenced to three years and four months in prison at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.

Doolan, of Wolstanton, admitted to the same charges and has been remanded in custody ahead of her sentencing, scheduled for June 3, 2025.
