BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. — A traffic stop in Black River Falls Sunday night led to the arrest of two Boyd, Wisconsin residents on multiple drug-related charges, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 9:15 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle in the City of Black River Falls. The driver, 39-year-old Matthew Hair, displayed signs of impairment and admitted to using fentanyl and methamphetamine. After undergoing field sobriety tests, Hair was arrested.
Deputies searched the vehicle and located suspected fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.
The passenger, 26-year-old Summer Copeland, also showed visible signs of drug impairment. Further investigation revealed she was also in possession of illegal substances and in violation of probation conditions.

Matthew Hair was booked into the Jackson County Jail on the following charges:
Operating While Intoxicated – 6th Offense
Possession of Schedule II Narcotic
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Summer Copeland was booked on:
Felony Bail Jumping
Possession of Schedule II Narcotic
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Probation Detainer
Both individuals remain in custody as the investigation continues.
