Marvin Gilbert Arrested at SeaBreeze in Regional Retail Theft Cases

Rochester man faces multiple charges tied to thefts in Victor stores

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A Rochester man was taken into custody Friday afternoon at SeaBreeze Amusement Park in connection with multiple retail theft investigations spanning several locations.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, 40-year-old Marvin T. Gilbert was arrested at approximately 2:37 p.m. on June 6 in the park’s parking lot at 4600 Culver Road in Monroe County. Deputies served three arrest warrants issued by Victor Town Court—two for petit larceny and one for grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony.

The charges relate to recent thefts reported at TJ Maxx, Dick’s House of Sports, and DSW stores in the Town of Victor. Authorities also confirmed that Gilbert has seven additional active warrants from nearby jurisdictions, all tied to retail theft cases.
