WIGAN, UK — Martin Finch, 44, of Broom Road, Wigan, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison after being found guilty of multiple serious sexual offenses, including crimes against children.
At Bolton Crown Court, Finch was convicted of:
Two counts of rape
Seven counts of sexual assault
One count of sexual assault by penetration
Five of the sexual assault charges involved children under the age of 14.
Also sentenced was Kathryn Wilkinson, 42, of the same address. She received a five-year prison term after being found guilty of:
One count of sexual assault
One count of sexual assault by penetration
Both Finch and Wilkinson have been ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for life.
The sentences reflect the serious and disturbing nature of the offenses, which involved the exploitation and abuse of vulnerable victims.
