EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Two Evansville residents have been arrested on drug dealing charges following an investigation into methamphetamine sales.
According to police, Marques Wilson and Michelle Thompson are both facing charges related to dealing methamphetamine. Wilson is also facing an additional firearm-related charge.
Investigators say they received information in October alleging that Wilson was selling meth. Authorities reported that last week Wilson sold drugs twice to a police informant. Detectives also stated he was under surveillance when he allegedly sold methamphetamine and marijuana to another individual in the parking lot of his apartment complex.
Police obtained a search warrant for Wilson’s apartment, which he shares with Thompson. During the search, officers reportedly discovered a loaded firearm, multiple baggies containing methamphetamine, THC products, cash, and drug paraphernalia.
Both suspects were taken into custody in connection with the investigation.
