A 37-year-old Hiram man, Mark O’Brien, has been arrested after authorities discovered a large stash of drugs and firearms at his home in Hiram. The arrest came after the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search on Tuesday at 931 Tripptown Road as part of an ongoing investigation.
During the search, deputies seized a variety of illegal substances, including 143.6 grams of cocaine, 33.1 grams of fentanyl, 2.5 grams of methamphetamine, 59 doses of suboxone, and 10 Oxycodone pills. Additionally, investigators found items related to the production of crack cocaine and methamphetamine, along with seven firearms. A stolen chainsaw was also recovered.
O’Brien has been charged with multiple counts of Aggravated Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs, Furnishing Scheduled Drugs, Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drugs, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, and Possession of Firearms by a Prohibited Person. He was taken into custody and is facing serious charges related to drug trafficking and firearm possession.
