Two Men Arrested for Murder of Jeremy Mouzon in Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have arrested Marcus Worrell and Kwamane Herriott-Cox in connection with the fatal stabbing of 44-year-old Jeremy Mouzon on August 3 in northeast Charlotte.
Authorities charged both men with first-degree murder, burglary, and felony conspiracy related to the attack.
Police believe the violent assault began inside Mouzon’s apartment on Terrybrook Lane, near Garinger High School. Mouzon was stabbed 13 times during the attack. His body was later found on East Sugar Creek Road and Redwood Avenue, struck by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing as officials work to piece together the full details.
