STELLA, N.C. — Marco Dwayne Hatchell, 43, was arrested and remains jailed without bond after being charged with multiple felony drug offenses, according to online warrants.
Hatchell faces two counts each of trafficking fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine, as well as felony charges for maintaining a place for controlled substances and exposing a child to drugs, authorities said.
The offenses allegedly occurred on Jan. 15, 2026, according to warrants issued by the Jacksonville Police Department. Investigators claim Hatchell unlawfully possessed and manufactured large quantities of controlled substances, including more than 28 grams of fentanyl, over 400 grams of cocaine, and between 200 and 400 grams of methamphetamine.
Warrants also allege that Hatchell used The Wave Clothing Store at 431-H Western Boulevard in Jacksonville to store and distribute these drugs. Additionally, authorities claim he knowingly allowed a child under 16 to be exposed to the controlled substances.
Hatchell is being held at the Onslow County Detention Center without bond and was scheduled to make his first court appearance on Jan. 16, 2026.
