A Mapleton woman, 35-year-old Allison Faye Winslow, faces multiple felony charges after allegedly stealing thousands of dollars in valuables from a gym locker and using a stolen credit card in Mankato.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Blue Earth County District Court, Winslow is charged with two counts of felony theft, felony financial transaction card fraud, and misdemeanor motor vehicle tampering.
The incident took place on June 28, 2025, when police responded to a theft report at a Mankato recreation center. The victim told officers she had left her car keys in a locker while working out. When she returned, the keys were gone, and later she discovered several items missing from her vehicle, including credit cards, cash, a backpack, an iPad, and three wedding rings.
Surveillance footage showed a black SUV parking next to the victim’s car, and facility staff identified Winslow as the driver through membership records.
Officers found Winslow at her home, where she admitted to stealing the items and using the victim’s credit card. She said she discarded the iPad out of concern it could be tracked. Most of the stolen property, valued at over $5,000, was recovered.
If convicted, Winslow faces multiple years in prison and fines totaling tens of thousands of dollars. She remains in custody as the case proceeds.
