Police have arrested Manjit Singh alias Bhindari, a resident of Pati Purewal Shankar village, on charges of selling intoxicating tablets, officials said. During the arrest, police recovered 30 tablets from his possession.
Following the seizure, a case was registered against the accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Police said further investigation is underway to trace the source of the tablets and determine whether the accused is part of a wider drug distribution network.
