Acting on a tip-off, the Mangaluru Police raided Parladka Junction, Puttur Kasaba on Thursday morning and seized approximately 400 grams of marijuana.
Details of the Arrest
The accused, Muhammad Thauseef, was selling the narcotic when PSI Janardhan KM and his team intercepted him. The police registered a case under sections 8(c) and 20(b) of the NDPS Act, 1985.
Legal Proceedings
Muhammad Thauseef was taken into custody and later produced before the court, which remanded him to judicial custody. The investigation is ongoing to determine the source and distribution network of the seized narcotics.
