Mandsaur police have arrested Rajendra Kumar Chandravanshi, a resident of Ratlam district, in connection with a burglary reported from Siddhi Vinayak Colony under Daloda police station.
Chandravanshi was apprehended with stolen silver jewellery worth around Rs1 lakh and Rs10,000 in cash. He reportedly confessed to committing the theft with an associate who remains at large.
The case was registered after Pankesh Kumawat, the complainant, reported that burglars had broken into his house on the night of January 5 and escaped with valuables.
Police examined CCTV footage and used technical inputs to identify Chandravanshi. Based on the evidence, he was taken into custody, and the stolen items were recovered. Investigation into his accomplice is ongoing.
