Mandan Man to Face Jury Trial for Burglary and Drug Charges

MANDAN, N.D. (KFYR) – A Mandan man, Samuel Silk Jr., is scheduled for a felony jury trial in connection with burglary and drug-related offenses.

Police reports indicate that officers arrested Silk on November 19 after receiving a report of a stolen vehicle valued between $50,000 and $60,000, which Silk was allegedly driving. When officers searched the vehicle, they discovered an odor of marijuana and traces of methamphetamine.

Silk now faces charges related to both burglary and drug possession. His trial is set for March 12, 2025.
