SAN ANTONIO — Dwight Malone, 68, was arrested after allegedly threatening to kill employees at a Navy Federal Credit Union over a $60 withdrawal.

According to Bexar County jail records, Malone faces a third-degree felony charge of terroristic threat against a public servant and criminal trespassing.

An arrest affidavit states that on September 17, Malone entered the bank and demanded his $60. When directed to a cashier, he became visibly angry and threatened employees, saying, “I am going to withdraw my $60, I’m going to get my $60 or I will kill all of you.”

Malone reportedly yelled and caused a disturbance, threatening another employee who tried to intervene with, “I’ll take you on a one-way trip and you will never come back.” He also allegedly threatened to kill the rest of the staff before leaving the premises.

Employees reportedly had previous issues with Malone, who was a customer at that location.

Malone was arrested and booked into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center on Saturday.
