On Thursday, Malakheda police arrested five individuals involved in the leak of the first-semester computer examination paper from Raj Rishi Bhartrihari Matsya University. The suspects are accused of obtaining the exam paper in PDF format through a broker and selling it to students for prices ranging from Rs 100 to Rs 500.

The university’s examination controller, Ashutosh Sharma, filed a complaint, leading to a prompt investigation. A case was registered at the Malakheda police station on March 4.

The arrested suspects have been identified as Mohit Kumar Jat (21) from Rewari, Haryana; Jitendra Kumar Yadav (20) and Sunny Dhanka (19) from Kotputli Behror district; Gajendra Singh Yadav (34) from Neemrana; and Ramnaresh Yadav (29).

Dr. Priyanka Raghuvanshi, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), confirmed that investigations are ongoing to identify other members of the syndicate. “The Malakheda police have acted swiftly to dismantle this paper leak network,” she stated.
