A major drug bust took place in Manipur’s Thoubal district, resulting in the seizure of over 100 kg of WY tablets. The operation, carried out near the Lilong police station, was a joint effort between the Manipur Police and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
The arrested individuals were Amaldas Xalxo from Golaghat, Mahedi Alom from Morigaon, and Mohammad Khurshid from Lilong Hangamthabi in Thoubal. Among the arrested suspects, two individuals were from Assam.
In addition to the substantial drug haul, authorities also seized a truck and a four-wheeler, believed to be used in the trafficking operation. The investigation into this significant drug seizure is ongoing, with the authorities working to uncover further details about the supply chain.
