Authorities say Manwaring intentionally struck 41-year-old Rodney Clark of Binghamton with his pick-up truck after a dispute at a residence on Lamb Road. Clark was transported by a private vehicle to Wilson Hospital but later died from his injuries.
Manwaring faces charges including second-degree murder, a Class A felony, and first-degree manslaughter, a Class B felony. He was processed at SP Binghamton and transferred to Broome County Correctional Facility for arraignment.
The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation, including the Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Unit, led the investigation with assistance from the Broome County Sheriff’s Department and Johnson City Police Department.
