Maharashtra Police have arrested a 43-year-old auto driver, Ali Mustakin Ali Sayyed, from Talasari in Palghar district for allegedly killing a passenger in 2001 over a dispute regarding auto fare.

The victim, 56-year-old Moharam Ali Mohammad Ibrahim Ali, was stabbed multiple times by Sayyed on October 14, 2001, as confirmed by a senior police inspector. The accused had remained untraced since the incident.
