A man has been charged following a series of shoplifting offences in the Suffolk market town of Needham Market.
Between May 27 and September 4 this year, six thefts were reported from a local shop, with stolen goods including meat, alcohol, and soft drinks—estimated to be worth nearly £400.
After an investigation, Suffolk Police arrested 37-year-old Luke Singleton in connection with the incidents on Thursday afternoon.
Singleton, who has no fixed address, faces six counts of theft from a shop. He has also been charged with resisting a police officer and one count of criminal damage.
He was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
