LAREDO, Tex. — Luis Galvez Medina, 38, was arrested by the Webb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division (CID) after allegedly crashing his pickup truck into a home over the weekend.

The incident occurred on Sunday, August 17, on the 100 block of Los Altos Drive. Medina’s black Ford pickup reportedly struck a residence, breaking through a wall in one of the rooms. The crash also caused damage to a neighbor’s concession trailer.

The homeowner, Alma Moreno, reported that Medina reversed his vehicle and drove away from the scene. After collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses, CID investigators questioned Medina, who was subsequently taken into custody.

Medina faces two counts of criminal mischief and is currently held at the Webb County Jail. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
