A 43-year-old man from Franklin County has been arrested and charged with multiple felony offenses related to the possession and production of child pornography.
Luis Alberto Ceron Romero was identified as the suspect after authorities received a tip about alleged criminal activity in the area. This prompted an immediate investigation, which led to the execution of search warrants. During the search, evidence was collected that directly linked Romero to the crimes.
Romero now faces two felony charges: one for possession of obscene material involving minors and another for the production or manufacturing of child pornography.
He was arrested on February 7 and is currently being held without bond.
