Nalasopara, Maharashtra – A shocking case of homicide unfolded on Saturday night in Pragati Nagar, Nalasopara East, where a 32-year-old Nigerian man, Lucky Uijeh, was allegedly murdered by three of his compatriots during a heated argument.

All four men – the victim and the three accused – lived in the same building in Pragati Nagar and were reportedly acquaintances. The Tulinj police said that the incident appeared to stem from a long-standing personal dispute, which escalated during a conversation between the group.

As per the FIR, the trio was engaged in a discussion when Lucky Uijeh interrupted, sparking rage among them. In the violent outburst that followed, they allegedly attacked him and struck him with a glass bottle. Lucky succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital.

The police have arrested two of the accused, identified as Ayoola Barthlome and Oghene Igere, both Nigerian nationals. The third suspect, Odia Peculiar, is currently absconding, and a manhunt has been launched to locate him.

Authorities have registered a case under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code and are continuing their investigation to uncover the full circumstances behind the brutal killing.
