
LYNCO, W.Va. (WVVA) – Two Ohio residents were arrested following a traffic stop in Wyoming County that led to the discovery of drugs and thousands of dollars in cash.
On August 16, deputies with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the Lynco area. Upon approaching the vehicle, deputies reported smelling marijuana, which prompted a search.
During the search, officers recovered 14 grams of field-tested fentanyl, a pill bottle containing oxycodone, a digital scale, and $3,632 in cash, suspected to be drug-related.
The vehicle’s two occupants — Lucas Robinson and Gibruana Dowell, both of Akron, Ohio — were arrested at the scene.
They are facing felony charges, including:
Possession with Intent to Deliver
Drug Conspiracy
Both suspects are currently in custody as the investigation continues.
