Lucas Jenkins Arrested for Condo Rental Fraud

Toronto man charged with multiple fraud and forgery counts

The Toronto Police Service announced an arrest in connection with a fraud investigation involving condo rentals.

Between September 2025 and March 2026, police received two reports alleging that a suspect had fraudulently obtained apartment rentals. Investigators from 14 Division’s Fraud office launched an inquiry.

Police allege that the suspect obtained a condo rental between September 2025 and February 2026 and a second condo rental between January and March 2026 through fraudulent means.

On Friday, March 13, 2026, Lucas Jenkins, 29, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with two counts of Fraud Over $5,000 and four counts of Utter Forged Document. Authorities believe there may be additional victims and have released an image of Jenkins to the public.

Jenkins was scheduled to appear in court at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury Street, Monday, March 16, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., room 203.
