Louisville Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Distribution

LONDON, Ky. — Nathan Cole, a 28-year-old Louisville man, has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for the distribution of fentanyl and methamphetamine. Cole was convicted after he sold 1,000 fentanyl pills and 237 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant at a restaurant in London on April 21, 2023.

Under federal law, Cole must serve 85 percent of his sentence before becoming eligible for release. Following his prison term, he will be under the supervision of the U.S. Probation Office for five years. This conviction is part of ongoing efforts to combat the opioid crisis and methamphetamine trafficking in the region.
