Louis Pradier Arrested in Lafayette Drug, Gun Bust

Authorities seize drugs, AR-15, and $25K in cash

LAFAYETTE, LA – A Lafayette man is in custody following the late-night seizure of multiple pounds of drugs, firearms, and cash during a law enforcement raid.

Louis Pradier, 49, was arrested Thursday and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, THC edibles, and cocaine, along with multiple firearm-related offenses, according to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies executed a search warrant just before midnight at a residence in the 200 block of Angelloz Street. Inside, investigators uncovered:

3.5 pounds of cocaine

2.75 pounds of marijuana

Over 2 pounds of THC edibles

An AR-15 rifle

More than $25,000 in cash

Pradier is currently being held without bond at the Lafayette Parish Jail. Authorities say the investigation is still ongoing, and additional details may follow.
