WEST END, N.C. — A 31-year-old West End man is facing a long list of charges after Moore County detectives searched his home and discovered a cache of drugs, weapons, and cash, authorities said.
Louis Gustafson was arrested Friday following a search at a residence in the 3600 block of Murdocksville Road, where deputies reportedly seized fentanyl, methamphetamine, MDMA (ecstasy), amphetamine, alprazolam, marijuana, firearms, drug paraphernalia, and more than $1,200 in cash.
According to Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields, Gustafson is now charged with:
Trafficking in methamphetamine by possession
Possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine
Possession of methamphetamine
Felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance
Possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule I controlled substance
Two counts of felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance
Manufacture of marijuana
Possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule IV controlled substance
Maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place to keep a controlled substance
Simple possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance
Simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Possession of a weapon of mass destruction
Possession of a firearm by a felon
Gustafson was placed under a $50,000 secured bond and is being held at the Moore County Detention Center. His next court appearance is scheduled for May 7.
