Lord Brockett Charged with Rape and Sexual Assault
British peer and former reality TV star Lord Charles Brockett has been charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault, according to the Metropolitan Police.
The 73-year-old, who resides in Fulham, west London, was arrested on Friday. The rape charges stem from an incident reported in London on August 10, while the sexual assault charge relates to an alleged incident in Warbleton, East Sussex on May 5.
Authorities confirmed that the alleged victim is receiving support from specialist police officers.
Lord Brockett gained public recognition after finishing fourth in the 2004 season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! He was expected to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
