Lopoke Police Arrest Harpreet Singh with 258 gm Heroin

Gharinda Police Seize 35 gm Heroin from Three Youths

In a significant drug bust, the Lopoke police in Punjab arrested Harpreet Singh, alias Suraj, from Mohalla Nathuana in Jandiala Guru. He was found in possession of 258 grams of heroin, Rs40,000 in drug money, and a scooter (PB 02-EZ-5854). The arrest occurred during a routine police patrol near Sahoora village, where Singh was intercepted and the contraband was recovered. A case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered, and investigations are ongoing to trace the source of the drugs.

Meanwhile, the Gharinda police apprehended three individuals—Manpreet Singh, Arshdeep Singh, and Sahil Singh, all residents of Chakmukand village. The trio was found with 35 grams of heroin. Authorities are conducting further inquiries to determine the origin and distribution network of the seized narcotics.
