Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the late-night shooting of entertainer and social media personality Lolita Callendar, known as “Lola Doll.” The arrest was confirmed by Police Headquarters on Sunday, stating the individual is currently in custody and cooperating with the investigation.
The 33-year-old artiste was shot multiple times outside her home at Texas Square, East Ruimveldt, Georgetown, on Saturday night. According to police, the attack occurred while Lola Doll was seated in her car and was reportedly carried out by a man riding a motorcycle.
Emergency responders rushed her to the hospital, where she remains in stable condition. Authorities noted that none of the bullets struck her vital organs. She is expected to undergo several tests before any surgical procedures.
