Logan Howard, an 18-year-old from Davenport, is currently being held in Scott County Jail after police say he assaulted and robbed a woman during a late-night incident.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Scott County Court, the Davenport Police Department responded around midnight on September 8 to a report of an armed robbery near E. 10th Street and Tremont Avenue.

Police allege that Howard brandished a firearm before physically assaulting the victim and stealing $100 in cash. A third-party witness reportedly observed the assault in progress and immediately called 911. Authorities confirmed that two additional suspects were involved in the robbery.

Howard was arrested on September 9 and is charged with first-degree robbery. He is being held on a secured $25,000 bond and is scheduled for a preliminary court hearing on September 18.

The investigation remains ongoing.
