A Lexington Park woman is facing multiple misdemeanor charges following a late-night traffic stop in Calvert County, Maryland.
Lisa Marie Thompson was arrested on February 3, 2026, after deputies conducted a stop on a tan Honda Odyssey around 11:18 p.m. The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office said the vehicle was pulled over due to a malfunctioning tag light and a suspended registration.
Thompson, who was seated in the front passenger seat, allegedly provided a false name and date of birth when asked to identify herself. A records check determined the name belonged to a deceased individual and was listed as an alias connected to Thompson, who had active warrants.
After being confronted, Thompson reportedly admitted her true identity and acknowledged the outstanding warrants. A search of the vehicle led deputies to recover items containing suspected cocaine residue, including a glass pipe inside a cigarette box, a metal rod behind the center console, and a cut plastic straw beneath a rear floor mat.
Thompson was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (not cannabis), possession of drug paraphernalia, fraud for providing false identity to avoid prosecution, and obstructing and hindering. She was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center.
She was later released on February 4, 2026, after posting a $1,000 unsecured personal bond. Thompson is scheduled to appear for a trial – officer scheduling hearing on March 17, 2026, in Calvert District Court.
