Pensacola, FL — Four women from Pensacola, including 41-year-old Lindsay N. McCray (aka Lindsay Rogers), have been charged in a federal case involving prescription drug fraud and health care crimes. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida revealed that the charges stem from a massive nationwide investigation targeting drug diversion and fraud schemes.
The defendants—Lindsay McCray, Alexandra M. Christensen (31), Heather T. Bradley (aka Heather Thomas, 36), and Jennifer E. Purves (39)—are accused of illegally distributing controlled substances such as oxycodone, hydrocodone, and amphetamine.
According to the indictment, between 2015 and 2024, McCray worked at a medical practice where she allegedly forged prescriptions using the names, signatures, and DEA numbers of her employers without their consent. Alongside Christensen and others, McCray allegedly helped dispense over 300,000 hydrocodone pills and 30,000 oxycodone pills illegally.
McCray is also charged with identity theft, while Bradley and Purves are accused of aiding in the distribution of amphetamines. Christensen faces conspiracy charges for helping to distribute the drugs.
All four are scheduled to stand trial on August 18, 2025. If convicted, McCray could face up to 80 years in prison, while the others could serve up to 20 years each.
Federal authorities estimate the broader investigation has uncovered over $14.6 billion in intended losses from healthcare fraud and led to the seizure of $245 million in assets nationwide.
