MINOT — Lindsay Daeley, 39, of Minot, has been arrested on outstanding warrants related to child abuse, endangerment, and neglect, the Minot Police Department reported.

Daeley faces charges of child abuse, a Class B felony, along with child neglect and endangerment, both Class C felonies.

The investigation began after Daeley’s child, under three years old and in her care for several months, was placed with the father’s family in December 2024. Authorities discovered bruising across the child’s body consistent with abuse. A hair follicle test further revealed the child had been exposed to methamphetamine.

Minot Police publicly sought assistance to locate Daeley via a “Help Locate” post. Officials thanked the community for sharing the alert and providing tips, which helped ensure her safe and timely arrest.
