Lexington Police Arrest Justin Clark in Connection to Multiple Robberies

31-Year-Old Charged with Three Robberies, Theft After Arrest

Lexington, KY – A suspect has been arrested in connection with several robberies that took place on July 7, 2024, in Lexington.

According to Lexington Police, officers were first dispatched at 6:02 p.m. on July 7 to a Speedway located in the 1200 block of New Circle Road for an attempted robbery. The suspect, armed with a weapon, entered the store, demanded money, and fled.

Just 30 minutes later, at 6:35 p.m., police responded to a similar incident at Clark’s Pump and Shop on Detroit Avenue. The suspect, once again armed, demanded cash and left with an undisclosed amount.

Later that evening, at around 7:25 p.m., officers were called to Sam’s Club on New Circle Road for an assault. The suspect attempted to steal money and struck an employee with a weapon before fleeing the scene.

On July 13, 2024, 31-year-old Justin Clark was arrested after an officer allegedly found him riding a stolen bicycle. Clark has been charged with three counts of Robbery in the First Degree, in addition to Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition for the stolen bike. He is currently held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
