Leeds Drug Dealer Kaissee Burke-Morrison Jailed for Nearly 4 Years

Police Seize Cannabis, Knife, and Cutting Agents in Leeds Bust

by Amelia Crawford

Kaissee Burke-Morrison, a 25-year-old drug dealer from Silk Mill Approach, Leeds, has been sentenced to three years and 10 months in prison after pleading guilty to drug-related offenses.

Appearing at Leeds Crown Court on February 14, Burke-Morrison was convicted of being involved in the supply of Class A drugs, possessing cannabis with intent to supply, and possessing criminal property.

The conviction stems from his arrest in September 2023 after police executed a search warrant at his address. Officers discovered cannabis, cutting agents, a large sum of cash, and a zombie-style knife. At a separate address linked to Burke-Morrison, additional cutting agents were found in a child’s bedroom.

Although Burke-Morrison could not be charged with possession of the knife due to recent legislation on machetes and zombie knives, his involvement in the illicit drug trade led to the significant sentence.

PC James Cooper from the Leeds District Neighbourhood Impact Team stated, “Class A drugs are a danger to our communities, and I’m pleased Burke-Morrison is now behind bars. Cases like these help reduce crime and make our neighborhoods safer.”
